Matte-ly Crew
Nail polish has gone to the dark side (or at least the side that's not as shiny). With new matte paints from big companies like O.P.I and Essie its hard not to want to try this hot new trend. But is it as great as magazines are making it seem? With a dry, chipped and peeling finish its a waste of time and money. If we wanted our nails not to shine then we would leave them all natural, right? Matte nails do add an edge to the typical polished look. What's your take on these new matte paints for nails?

I think toss, but then I'm not terriblely stylist. I like good old fashion shine myself.

I'm with Joy, the black & brown are horrible. I'd rather use a Sharpie marker than that stuff!

welcome to SITS! not sure I like dark polish on long nails...it really depends.
